Susan Haynes is a lifelong Austinite and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1997.

She has a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.

Her medical adventure started as a registered nurse at Seton Hospital on the oncology unit, and after becoming a nurse practitioner she spent much of her career in Internal Medicine before discovering the joy of the unique functional medicine that Dr. Kendal Stewart practices.

She is empathetic and detail oriented and has a knack for communicating complicated subjects in a way they can be understood.

She is married, a mother and grandmother, active in her church, has run for political office and would rather be fishing than anything else.
